WBPSC Miscellaneous Prelims Exam Pattern 2026
The WBPSC Miscellaneous Preliminary Examination 2026 is conducted to assess a candidate’s general knowledge and basic mathematics. The examination is objective in nature and consists of multiple-choice questions (MCQs). Candidates are given 1 hour 30 minutes to complete the exam, which carries a total of 200 marks.

WBPSC Miscellaneous Mains Exam Pattern 2026
The WBPSC Miscellaneous Mains Examination 2026 consists of four descriptive-type papers carrying a total of 450 marks. The mains examination evaluates candidates on English, General Studies, Arithmetic, and one Regional Language (Bengali/Hindi/Urdu/Nepali/Santali). The detailed paper-wise exam pattern is given below.
