Kolkata Police SI Selection Process
Candidates must qualify at each stage to proceed to the next level of selection.
- Preliminary Written Examination
- Physical Measurement Test (PMT)
- Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
- Final Combined Competitive Written Examination

- Medical Examination
The Preliminary Examination is qualifying in nature. PET and PMT are qualifying stages. Final merit is prepared based on marks obtained in the Final Written Exam and Interview. Candidates must be medically fit as per police standards.
